About GreenBrain
This page explains who we are, why this project exists, where the platform's information comes from, and where its limits lie.
1. Who we are
GreenBrain is a trust-screening and certification-decision service focused on cross-border hydrogen procurement, operated by Shanghai Liangpin Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd (registered in Shanghai). We help global buyers reach evidence-verified Chinese supply, and help Chinese manufacturers go abroad efficiently and compliantly - turning “what must be certified” and “who can be trusted” from unanswerable questions into traceable evidence.
2. Why this project exists
Hydrogen equipment entering the EU, the US and other markets must meet a fragmented and highly specialised set of regulations and standards (such as the EU Pressure Equipment Directive PED, the ATEX Directive, ISO 22734 and material certificates under EN 10204). Buyers struggle to tell whether a supplier's certifications and evidence are genuine and applicable to their target market, while suppliers struggle to know what is still missing. The purpose of this platform is to make that judgement structured and traceable.
3. What the platform does
Pre-certification navigation: start with a market-access quick check to see which certifications and evidence your product needs for the target market; when a deeper judgement is needed, move into a professional assessment, where the platform maps the gaps and next actions against your product and target market. Verified directory: a curated set of evidence-verified suppliers and products, filtered by readiness and evidence, closing with an inquiry.
4. Information and verification principles
Directory and assessment information rests on recorded evidence sources. Information a supplier fills in, uploads or states is not the same as platform verification; we mark verification status only within the scope of the files actually uploaded, and unverified information is clearly labelled. Certification, standards, testing and market-access information always retains its evidence source, review status, scope of applicability and uncertainty.
5. Independence
Suppliers cannot pay for a readiness label or for recommendation ranking; the order in which products or suppliers are shown does not change because of payment.
6. What we do not do
GreenBrain does not replace a Notified Body in issuing a statutory conclusion, does not guarantee certification, does not provide legal advice, does not issue CE DoCs, and does not assume title, payment or full logistics responsibility before a contract is signed.
7. Content and limitations
Platform information is provided as-is and may change with certificate validity, standard revisions or regulatory updates. Before making a procurement or compliance decision, rely on official bodies and the currently effective documents, and complete your own due diligence.
